Week at a Glance (Oct. 14-19)

We had such a great week this week with Read In Week. We kicked the week off with PJ Day, did buddy reading, had a variety of reading guests and students were caught reading throughout the week. Thank you to our teacher team, Mme Lundgren and Mme Krys, for planning a week full of fun events. We also wanted to thank all of our parents and special guests who came to read to our classes. We had a wonderful week of reading!

Interviews
Our school interviews are next week. They will be taking place on Wednesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 17 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. If you haven't had a chance to book your interviews, you can still book them until Wednesday, October 16 at 8:00 a.m.

Book Fair
Our Book Fair is happening this week. It will be open during our school interviews, on Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Classes will also browse the Book Fair and have the chance to purchase books during their assigned recess. You can see your student's purchase day in the week at a glance below.

Halloween Family Dance
Save the date for our Halloween Dance on Friday, October 25 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

This is a family-friendly event that will include a DJ, door prizes, cash concession and prizes for best costumes! Tickets will be $2/person at the door, kids under the age of 5 are free. Please bring cash for tickets, we will not be able to accept debit or credit cards.

We can't wait to see you in your costumes for this spooktacular event!
