Week at a Glance (Feb. 17-21)

Carnaval at HHE
Carnaval celebrations are happening this week which include many fun French activities throughout the week and ending with Girandole (French cultural dance). On Thursday, February, 20 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. we are having our first whole school Carnaval event where we celebrate French culture and outdoor winter activities. Classes will spend the afternoon participating in different stations. To help make this a successful event, we are looking for volunteers to help be at each station. If you are willing and able to help out, please sign up here. We are looking forward to celebrating with the whole school!

Read-A-Thon
Our Read-A-Thon is blowing us all away! We have reached most of our goals and have surpassed some as well! Way to go, Coyotes! It is amazing to see students engaged in reading! Students are excited and motivated to read and have one more goal to reach to get to 150 000 reading minutes. We have until the end of the day on Monday to get our minutes up! Keep on reading, Coyotes!

We have a ton of great prizes thanks to our amazing FAHHE group of parents. Prizes will be announced on Tuesday & Wednesday next week.
